It’s Time for Digitalization!

As technology is changing everything and making our lives easy. Through technology, we can make our businesses more efficient and can double profits. But still, we can see some sectors where we are not taking advantage of it. I am talking about the postal services that we use on daily basis. By taking little help from IT we can make it more productive and user friendly.
TCS is considered as one of the favorite companies in order to send and receive couriers in Pakistan. But their process is a little inefficient. I found the below problem in their system:
“Due to not having any online portal to make a courier request, people are forced to go TCS and Pakistan Post Offices in order to send their postal!”
Usually, we go to these outlets to avail the courier services. Most of the time we have to stand in long queues in order to wait for our turn. But in today’s busy and fast life people do not have the time to wait for something.
Although the Government of Pakistan took many revolutionary reforms in Pakistan Post to make the postal services more productive and efficient. But still, no one is trying to solve the problem of the customer.
In order to solve the problem and to save the time of people, I am planning to build an online application for this purpose. It would be great if we build an online application where people can make a courier request. After receiving the request, the company’s representative will go to their given address, he will collect the courier and post it to the nearest outlet of TCS, or Pakistan Post, or the service they want to use for the post. Due to this application people would be able to send their posts while sitting in their homes. I talked to some of the people and below are their comments that they think about it:
“I would be the first one who uses this service because I do not have enough time to go and send my post.”
Through this application, we would not only save time but also earn some money from it. I hope I will start working on it as soon as possible to make it real.
